Diversity
Principal objectives
AmCham has worked in the evaluation of diversity topics in the workforce and how it affects the profitability of companies that are part of the Chamber. There are several studies that demonstrate the positive relation between financial performance and female representation in top management levels. Still, the woman acknowledgment through the Mexican workplace needs to be enhanced. Therefore, the Diversity Committee of the American Chamber/Mexico aims to establish best practices for improving the women working conditions and employment access to higher levels of management. In order to develop the diversity themes’ goals, the Diversity Committee will work on three main areas, which include:
• Diversity and Inclusion best practices
• A mentoring program dedicated to executive women from AmCham members
• Networking events
